Square- A rectangle that has all 4 sides of equal length

 Rectangle- A parallelogram that has 4 right angles

 Trapezoid- a quadrilateral plane figure having two parallel and two nonparallel sides 

Rhombus- an oblique-angled equilateral parallelogram; any equilateral parallelogram except a square

Parallelagram- A quadrilateral having both pairs of opposite sides paralell to eachother

All these quadrilaterals are there own unique shape!

To classifiy Triangles is by Length & Angle. Length triangles are like Isosceles, Equilateral, & Scalene. Isosceles Triangles has only 2 sides the same. Equilaterals Triangles have ALL sides the same. Scalene Triangle has NONE sides the same. Now Angle Triangles are on Obtuse, Acute, & Right Angles. Obtuse Triangles have 1 obtuse angle. Acute Trianglehas all 3 acute angles. Right Triangle have only 1 Right Angle.

Classification by sides are scalene, equilateral, and isosceles. Scalene is none of the sides are the same. Equilateral is all the sides are the same. Isosceles is two sides are the same.

Classification by angles are acute, obtuse, and right. Acute is all the angles are less than 90 degrees.Obtuse is that one angle is more than 90 degrees. Right is one angle is 90 degrees.

How to classify triangles?

      There are 3 different types of triangles. The isosceles triangle is a triangle with 2 sides the same length. The equalateral triangle is a triangle of all sides the same length. The scalene triangle is a triangle with zero or zip sides the same length.

   Then there are triangles with 3 different angles. A right angle would be a triangle with an angle equal to half the angle from one end of a line segmement to the other. It is an angle equal to 90%. Next would be an obtuse angle triangle which is an angle greater then 90% and less then 180%. Last is an acute angled triangle. This angle is less then 90%.
